New Game Plus is unlocked after beating the game, and is not a traditional NG+ where you are all powerful and breeze through the game. Then you can begin to work on all the collecting, and any miscellaneous achievements that you didn't manage to get during the story. There is nothing missable, and you can continue to play after beating the final boss by choosing "continue" from the main menu. From there, your main focus at first should just be to enjoy the game and complete it. If you're not going for the One Shot achievement, immediately walk off the ledge when the game starts to die for Nothing's Easy, Now is it? and then let the Drifter idle for ten minutes to get Meditation. I'd suggest not worrying about it and just doing a speed run as a third playthrough though. When you come back into the game, any health packs in the area will have respawned, so you can fill back up. If you want to try and do that at the same time, you'll need to be extra careful and likely pause/quit whenever you're low on health and out of health packs. You should get all but two achievements during this playthrough, unless you somehow manage to beat the game without dying. However, once you get through the basics, it is very fun game with rewarding combat. While the art and color palette are beautiful, this can make the game a bit confusing in the beginning since you won't know what everything is, or if something is necessarily an area to walk on or not. The story is presented through the imagery alone. There are literally no words in the game. Hyper Light Drifter is an Action RPG presented in a minimalistic style. Does difficulty affect Achievements: No Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 2 (3 Recommended)
